Achievers, the leader in employee rewards and recognition solutions, is honored to be included on the 2012 WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces™, which recognizes organizations that practice organizational democracy and freedom to maximize human potential.
“People want freedom rather than fear in the workplace,” says WorldBlu Founder and CEO, Traci Fenton. “WorldBlu-certified organizations model how democracy in the workplace unleashes human potential and builds highly successful organizations that change the world for the better.”
The WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces ™ is organized by WorldBlu, a St. Louis and London-based social enterprise. The 48-company list is made up of organizations that demonstrate the practice of ten democratic principles such as: purpose and vision, transparency, fairness and dignity, choice on leadership, integrity, dialogue and listening, accountability and reflection and evaluation. To determine the award recipients, employees from participating organizations take a survey based on a decade of research on what makes a world-class democratic organization.
“At Achievers, we empower employees through autonomy and responsibility to drive success,” says Razor Suleman, Founder and Chairman of Achievers. “Having employees who are engaged, invested and passionate about what we do is in the DNA of our culture and how we do business. Achievers is excited to be recognized by WorldBlu for our democratic business model for the fourth consecutive year.”
In addition to Achievers, other award recipients include Zappos.com, Glassdoor, WD-40, New Belgium Brewery, Great Harvest Bread Company, DaVita and many more.
