Allison Vendt is the Global Head of Virtual First and Senior Director of People Operations at Dropbox where she leads several teams dedicated to employee and workplace experience. In 2020, she spearheaded Dropbox's efforts to create Virtual First, the working model of the future, and continues to lead efforts around advancing and evolving the operating model alongside modern work. Virtual First has been featured in Fortune, Time, Fast Company, Wall Street Journal, and more for its unique approach to optimizing the remote-first work experience.
Prior to her current role, Allison spent a decade in a variety of learning and organizational development roles at Dropbox and in the education sector, as well as several years in advertising for clients like Coca-Cola, Marriott, and Clorox. Allison holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a masters degree from New York University.
Jose Halupa, with over two decades in the entertainment industry, is the Executive Director of National Operations at Cineplex Entertainment. He oversees coast-to-coast operational and food & beverage programs, integrating support for Exhibition and Location-Based Entertainment businesses. Previously, as Senior Manager of National Operations, he developed the national Guest Service Strategy "Delivering for Our Guests," managing communications and partnering with IT for customer experience enhancement. Jose also served as Sr. Operations Manager at Cineplex Cinemas Queensway, refining skills in theatre management, cash administration, and team leadership.
Jose attended York University in the Bachelor of Administration Studies program specializing in Marketing, providing him with a solid foundation in business and marketing principles. He is committed to driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional experiences for guests and employees.
Caitlin Nobes started her career in journalism and is still passionate about bringing the right information to the right people at the right time. As Head of Workforce Research, Caitlin oversees Achievers Workforce Institute’s primary research program, investigating changing expectations and challenges to bring actionable best practices to HR and business leaders.
Caitlin has a BA in Psychology and a post-graduate diploma in journalism and has spent the last decade of her career researching and writing for HR professionals. She grew up in New Zealand but has lived in Toronto since 2011.
Natalie Baumgartner has spent her career translating culture and engagement research into solutions that help organizations achieve high performance. She has a long history of serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, investors, founders, and boards of directors – across industries and around the globe. Natalie's expertise in strength-based psychology and workplace belonging informs her keen ability to understand and elevate the unique makeup of each organization and executive, helping to realize potential efficiently and effectively.
Natalie serves as Partner and Chief Research Officer at Contemporary Leadership Advisors (CLA). Prior to her current role, Natalie most recently served as Chief Workforce Scientist and founder of the Workforce Institute at Achievers - CLA’s strategic partner and a global leader in employee experience solutions. In addition, Natalie co-founded RoundPegg, a SaaS based Culture Measurement and Management platform, subsequently acquired by Achievers. Natalie graduated from UCLA and the University of Denver with a PhD in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Strength-Based Psychology, and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Natalie serves on multiple boards and as an advisor to a wide variety of organizations. She is a regular contributor to Forbes and Harvard Business Review, among other press outlets, and is a popular speaker–engaging audiences on topics related to culture and the employee experience, including a TED talk on the importance of culture fit.
Steve is a Managing Partner at CLA where he works with clients at the intersection of technology and organizational effectiveness. Prior to co-founding CLA, he served on the Senior Leadership Team in AlixPartners Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness practice and was the Partner in charge of Human Capital Consulting at Philosophy IB. At Philosophy IB, Steve built the firm’s first predictive people analytics applications, one of which, SYNAPP, was accepted into DreamIt Venture’s selective Accelerator Program.
Steve holds an M.B.A. from The University of Virginia and an Ed.D. in Adult Learning from N.C. State University where his research focused on how organizational networks affect learning, change and innovation. Steve is the author of “The End of Leadership as We Know It” released in 2023.
